SCIENTIFIC BACKGROUND:
John is a Scientist at the GSSI Lab in Valhalla, NY with interests in using technology and research to support human and sport performance. Prior to GSSI, John worked as a Sports Performance Scientist with the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee based in San Diego, CA. In his 10-year career with the USOPC, John worked with over 50 medal winning athletes leading up to two Olympic Games (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020) and was involved in 3 world record setting performances. John also has experience in resource allocation during his time on the Technology and Innovation Grant Committee within the USOPC.
