Scientific Background

Edwin Davidson, Ph.D. is a chemistry scientist with expertise in analytical biochemistry, nanotechnology, and biomedical research. He began his career as a forensic chemist, analyzing controlled substances in criminal investigations, before earning his Ph.D. in Chemistry and M.S. in Nanotechnology from the University of Central Florida (UCF). As a Research Associate at UCF, he led the development and validation of analytical methods for nanoformulations for both biomedical and agricultural drug delivery applications. During his doctoral studies, he also gained industry experience at Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc., where he implemented a phenolic compound quantification method to support antioxidant claims across multiple product lines. Outside the lab, Edwin enjoys outdoor activities, playing pickleball, and traveling, having visited over 10 different countries.
