Biography:
Martha has been a Sports Nutrition Advisor for GSSI Mexico since 2013. Martha obtained her Bachelor’s degree in 2010, and in 2014 she specialized in Sports Nutrition. Martha’s main role within GSSI Mexico is to provide education to athletes of different levels. She is in charge of uploading the information generated by GSSI to the GSSI LATAM website and collaborating in projects with universities and sports nutritionists. Martha provides service to athletes who are evaluated within the GSSI Mexico Lab, in addition to assisting in the Spanish translation of scientific articles and educational materials. Martha has been a speaker in various sports nutrition forums.
Martha is an ISAK Level 2 Anthropometrist and has experience in private practice with endurance athletes. She has also been a teacher of a Hydration in Exercise module within the Diploma in Nutrition applied to Sport offered by the Universidad Iberoamericana Mexico City.
In her free time, Martha enjoys spending time with her family and dog. Her favorite sport is swimming; she practiced this sport for 15 years at a competitive level. Martha currently likes to exercise for health, she enjoys running and biking.
