Biography:
Evelyn is a Nutritionist with 30 years of experience working with athletes. She has worked with GSSI since 1999 for El Salvador, 2003 for Central America, 2007 for Latin America, to date. She founded the High Performance Nutrition unit at the National Sports Institute of El Salvador, in addition to directing food services at sporting events including the Central American and Caribbean Games in 2002 and 2023. She is currently engaged in private practice advising soccer schools, national volleyball teams, taekwondo, soccer, athletics, and amateur runners. She has been invited to coordinate and teach classes in the Sports Nutrition diploma courses at the National University and the Evangelical University of El Salvador. Evelyn is passionate about the promotion of physical activity to which she has dedicated effort in the media: networks, TV, radio, written press. She has completed 8 half marathons, although her favorite sport is swimming.
