COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • Describe the various functions of Vitamin D and how they are related to athletic performance.
  • Discuss how issues such as muscle weakness and respiratory tract infections may be related to Vitamin D deficiency.
  • Utilize knowledge of blood Vitamin D status in relation to season and the athletes' training regimen to optimize performance and health.
